Information on cost will be coming out in the next few weeks once we have a better idea of how many teams we will be having. As of now, the cost appears similar to last season.

For those who don’t know, Ardsley Youth Basketball has competed in a competitive Westchester Travel Basketball League against teams from Dobbs Ferry, Edgemont, Scarsdale, White Plains, Armonk, Rye, Tarrytown, Chappaqua, Harrison, Somers, and Irvington just to name a few (not all grades play all towns) for the last five years. These are Ardsley Teams based on grade and gender and are reserved for Ardsley School District students and/or residents only. All our Home Games and Practices are played in the Ardsley Schools and Practices are normally once a week, however your coach can elect to schedule more (Practice/Game Schedule has not come out yet). Games are scheduled by the Coach and Team Parent. There are tryouts and unfortunately there will be cuts but if your child wants to represent Ardsley – read on!

Last year was a huge success! Two of our teams had undefeated regular seasons only to have heartbreaking losses in the playoffs. The majority of our Teams played at Madison Square Garden which was an experience they will never forgot. Although this season, we will not be playing at MSG we do plan to have teams play at half-time of the Ardsley Varsity Games and have some players sit on the bench for Home Varsity games.

We need your help! Please pass this email along to all parents who may have a child that is interested in trying out. We need volunteers (Head Coaches, Coaches, Team Parents, Board Members) so please let us know if you’re interestedAs always, thank you Ardsley Superintendent Ryan Schoenfeld and the Ardsley Panther Booster Club for all your assistance.

Stay tuned…….
